Organization History
Holiness Fire Evangelism & Mission Group (HFEMG) came into existence on September 13, 2005. It was founded by Rev. John Sewell and Rev. Wesley Sewell.
How HFEMG began.
Rev. John Sewell and some other brethren started preaching on the streets in 2002 in Douglas, GA. This was the first major street outreach the holiness brethren had done in many years. His brother, Rev. Wesley Sewell, began helping in the street ministry even before he began preaching and continued to help afterward. This beginning in the street ministry has inspired the Sewell brothers into increased activity in the street ministry. They decided that it was time to stir the church world awake to the importance of open-air evangelism. Thus, they came together in September of 2005 and formed Holiness Fire Evangelism & Mission Group. |
