We as the members of Holiness Fire Evangelism & Mission Group do adhere to these articles of faith. This is by no means all that we believe and is not intended to state all the doctrines that are in the Bible. This is some of the fundamental doctrines this organization believes and adheres to. Please contact us if you have any questions about why we believe these things. Also contact us if you would like to know more about what we believe.
1. We believe in one God which is the Triune Godhead: the Father; the Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19)
2. We believe in the six literal days of creation and reject the theory of evolution. (Genesis 1)
3. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. (Luke 1)
4. Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected on the third day. (Mark 16:6,19)
5. We believe the Old and New Testament is the inspired Word of God and accept no version other than the King James Version. (II Peter 1:21)
6. All are born into sin and must repent and be saved. (Psalm 51:5, John 3:3)
7. Salvation by faith thru grace as a gift from God thru the blood of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)
8. We believe in the work of sanctification. (I Thessalonians 4:3)
9. We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19)
10. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4)
11. We believe in the nine gifts of the spirit. (I Corinthians 12:8-10)
12. We believe in the second coming of Christ. (Matthew 24:30-31)
13. We believe Hell is real and reject the doctrine of purgatory. (Luke 16:19-31, Psalm 9:17) |
